Falling Stars

  • Goldmark Cultural Center 13999 Goldmark Drive Dallas, Texas, 75240 United States (map)

Artists Eva Kustarne Zsoldos and Rebecca Boatman selected April to exhibit their works focusing on endangered species for Earth Day. After cancelling in 2020 they have brought their works and more back to Goldmark Cultural Center to inspire viewers to celebrate the presence of those at risk and be mindful of their preservation. Kustarne focuses primarily on species in Texas while Boatman concentrates on the cause and effect for the dwindling numbers. The works represent a wide range in media including ceramics, mixed media, video, and painting.

The exhibit runs from March 26, 2021 through May 1 at Goldmark Cultural Center at 13999 Goldmark Drive in Dallas.

A reception with the artists will be held Saturday, April 17 from 1-5 pm and will include resources and activities that offer support in sustaining and protecting the environment. A special presentation by the East Dallas Uke A Ladies will be at 2pm in conjunction with the reception.

The artists will also be available during The In Between Art Sale at the center on May 1, 2021.
