Private event for Goldmark artists only

The Artists' Social event is held before each public open-studios event. It is a private event that allows Goldmark artists to meet their neighbors and visit each other's studios across both buildings.

With your fellow Goldmark artists as studio visitors, the Social is like a scaled down version of the upcoming open-studios event that is just for Goldmark artists. The Social will give you plenty of time to meet your neighbors and experience some different sides of the Goldmark artist community.

We hope you can join us in opening your studio for this event for your fellow Goldmark artists!

How this event will work:

If you'd like to participate in the Social, meet us in the front lobby of Building 14001 at 6:00pm on 8/8.

Unlike the Socials in previous years, we will be moving as one large group to visit all the participating artists' studios in sequence, starting with those on the 2nd floor of Building 14001. So if you arrive late and don't find anyone in the lobby, look for our big group on the 2nd floor of Building 14001.

As we stop by each Goldmark artist's studio, that artist will open their studio and get to spend a few minutes sharing about their artwork and studio practice with our group. After they finish sharing, that artist can close their studio and join the group as we move on to visiting the next artist's studio, and so on.

We will start by visiting the studios on the 2nd floor of Building 14001, then visit those on the 1st floor of Building 14001, then visit those on the 1st floor of Building 13999, and finally visit those on the 2nd floor of Building 13999.

After our group finishes visiting the last studio, we will head out to the outdoor community garden where you can hang out with your fellow artists, or return to your studio and meet with your hallway or studio cluster neighbors to divide up hallway and common area wall space and make plans for the open-studio event.
