About the Goldmark Gallery Committee
Since 2018, a select group of volunteer Goldmark artists have been responsible for planning the yearly exhibition lineup for the John H. Milde Gallery and the Norman Brown Gallery, which are the Goldmark Cultural Center’s two flagship art galleries. In this role, the volunteer artists of the Goldmark Gallery Committee select, schedule, and coordinate a total of 20 exhibitions each year (10 exhibitions per gallery).
in addition to reviewing and evaluating the exhibition proposals that are submitted by local artists to both Galleries each year, the Committee members coordinate and supervise the installation of all the exhibitions in both Galleries. In this way, the Committee members serve as liaisons between exhibiting artists and the Goldmark Cultural Center directorship and the Goldmark artist community.
The Goldmark Gallery Committee consists of Goldmark artists with many years of combined experience in operating art galleries and curating art exhibitions, who have been nominated to join the Committee by the Goldmark Cultural Center directorship. and standing Committee members.
As Goldmark artists themselves, the Gallery Committee members ensure that the Goldmark artist community collectively possesses a major stake and the deciding voice in the selection of the exhibitions that are featured for display in the Goldmark Cultural Center’s art galleries.

Margo Miller (2025 - present)
Margo Miller is a painter, printer, and assemblage creator known for her exploration of perception and visual experiences. Using acrylics, gold foil, and mixed media, Margo’s work investigates the ways in which we see and interpret the world around us. Her current focus is on pixelated portraits adorned with gold foil, a technique that symbolizes the fragmentation of human perception and the layered nature of how we understand the world.

Her drypoint prints are created using Tetrapak (a commercial packaging material) and a pasta maker and she enjoys sharing her techniques as she explores the potential of this unique medium.
Margo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University. Over the course of her career, she has taught public school art in Dallas, taught commercial entertainment classes and offered private lessons to aspiring artists.
