Jacqueline Smith

Jacqueline Smith is a Dallas-based printmaker specializing in fine art linocut and woodcut, with a working studio at Goldmark Cultural Center. Her artwork explores themes of memory, identity, and place, drawing inspiration from both the American West and her experiences abroad.

Influenced by her upbringing in West Texas and her studies at East Texas A&M University in Commerce, Smith's art often reflects her affinity for wide-open spaces and the enduring spirit of the region. Her prints evoke nostalgic images drawn from both her American upbringing and her recent experiences abroad, creating a dialogue between these distinct cultural memories.
