Note: This private event is only open to Goldmark artists and their guests.
Join us on the night of Thursday 8/21 from 10:00pm to 12:00am for another late-night viewing of 3 new art exhibitions in the Goldmark Cultural Center's art galleries:
The featured exhibitions include:
"Sözsüz Hikaye: The Kilim Speaks", a solo exhibition of hand-built Turkish and Crimean Tatar ceramic works by Ukrainian artist Vasfie Abederafi. (on display through 8/29 in Norman Brown Gallery, Building 14001)
"SolarScape", a solo exhibition of immersive video and sculptural works by Goldmark artist Jiatong Yao. (on display now through 8/24 in Ruth Andres Gallery, Building 13999)
Jiatong will be present from 10pm - 11pm to introduce her exhibition and respond to any questions or comments about her artwork."Ride: A Retrospective", a solo exhibition of metal, ceramic, and mixed media sculptural and installation works by Dallas artist Susan Mollet. (on display through 8/29 in John H. Milde Gallery, Building 13999)
This is an ideal opportunity for the nighttime artists of the Goldmark artist community to enjoy and experience some of this month's featured exhibitions in the Cultural Center's Brown Gallery, Milde Gallery, and Andres Gallery. Make sure to leave a comment for the exhibiting artist in the gallery guest book if you enjoy a particular exhibition!
Special thanks to Goldmark artist Jon Doumecq for supervising this late-night exhibition viewing!
If you enjoy this event, let us know or share your feedback. We can continue to schedule more late night viewings for future exhibitions in the Cultural Center galleries.
For the daytime artists and the public, the Cultural Center's galleries are, of course, always open for viewing 11am - 5pm on weekdays and some Saturdays.
