Drypoint Printmaking Workshop, with Margo Miller

  • Goldmark Cultural Center 14001 Goldmark Drive Dallas, Texas 75240 United States (map)

Join us at the Goldmark Cultural Center’s Auditorium on Thursday 3/5 from 10.00am - 1.00pm or Saturday 3/7 from 10.00am - 1.00pm for a Drypoint Printmaking Workshop with Tetrapak and Pasta Press, presented by Goldmark artist Margo Miller!

Discover the art of printmaking in this hands-on workshop where we’ll explore an inventive twist on a traditional technique. We use recycled Tetrapak (a commercial packaging material) for our printing plates, and we will learn how to incise lines and textures into the surface to create rich, expressive drypoint prints. Instead of a professional press, we’ll use a pasta maker!

No prior printmaking experience is required. This workshop emphasizes experimentation, sustainability, and the joy of transforming everyday materials into works of art. All supplies are provided, but bring an apron or art shirt.  You’ll leave with your own unique prints and the knowledge to continue the process at home.

Registering for this workshop

Space is limited to 15 participants. Sign up for either day by replying to mghlee@att.net. Be sure to indicate which day you are choosing (Thursday 3/5 or Saturday 3/7).

Although the workshop is free, there is a suggested donation of $5.00 per participant, to help cover the cost of materials.
