Join us for a show-and-tell discussion of the various varnishes, fixatives, and sealants you use on your paintings, drawings, sculptures, and other artwork.

Applying a varnish or fixative is often the final step of a lengthy creative process and can drastically alter the appearance of your artwork, for better or for worse. It can be a big gamble to try out a new product on a finished artwork, so we want to compare and contrast with some real examples and avoid risky experimentation!

If you can, bring some examples of your artworks that have been treated with your preferred varnishes, fixatives, and sealants so that everyone can observe how these different products behave on real artwork.
