Rachel Perkins

Studio 130, Building 13999

Rachel is a Dallas-based mixed media artist and poet whose work explores tension, vulnerability, memory, and psychological landscapes. Her practice blends layered materials, text, and gesture to create emotionally immersive pieces that sit between intimacy and restraint.

Working from her delightfully cozy little studio at the Goldmark Cultural Center, she approaches each piece as an excavation, uncovering what is hidden, protected, or unresolved.

Her current body of work focuses on the idea of containment and what it means to hold or resist holding, emotion, identity, and personal history.
