I work in acrylic and oil on various substrates using a knife, brushes and fingerpainting to achieve abstract divisionism and emotive color combinations. Feelings align with thought, structure compliments expression.

I focus on technique, skills that I have developed through classes and many years of experimentation and practice. Yet there is a sense of wonder as the work achieves balance and resolves.  

Upon completing undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), Susan moved to Dallas.
