The Goldmark Cultural Center’s Ruth Andres Gallery presents “Skies of Blue”, a solo exhibition of acrylic paintings by Goldmark artist Blair Duran.

The exhibition is on display from 2/9 through 2/22, with a closing reception on Saturday 2/21 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Join us for the reception to meet the artist and learn from her about her artwork!

About the Exhibition

It appears unmoving but never remains,
Its form is familiar but never the same.

Inspired by nature’s television, this exhibition features dreamlike visions of the sky. Expanding on that subject and the freedom of working without a defined end result, select works from this series also reflect and ethereal balance of the natural and geometric.

About the Artist

Blair Stevie Duran is a multidisciplinary artist and musician in the DFW area. She has painted all her life while forging a career as a classical guitarist and music instructor. This will be her first solo art exhibit.
