Is a picture truly worth a thousand words? Ten artists put that to the test in a sprawling display of creative photography. Join us at Ruth Andres Gallery for the opening reception of "Stories With No Words — Portraiture Group Exhibition".

Supported in part by The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, Stories With No Words Group Photo Portraiture Exhibition is the culmination of a community photography workshop that took place over the month of July. Led by visual artists hype shooter & Peyton Mixon, the July hands-on intensive showed Dallas residents that you can use any camera—even your smartphone—to take powerful, compelling portraits.

This community showcase celebrates the unique personalities and creativity of each participant by printing their works and putting them on display at the historic Goldmark Cultural Center in North Dallas for two weeks.
