The Goldmark Cultural Center’s Ruth Andres Gallery presents “Split Painting Show” a joint exhibition of new paintings by Goldmark artists Parker Turney and Randall Day.

The exhibition is on display from 8/10 through 8/23, with a reception on Saturday 8/22 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The reception is a great opportunity to meet both artists and learn about their artwork!

About the Exhibition
This exhibition is a collaboration in the spirit of split music releases. A "split", common in extreme metal and punk subgenres, is where two or more bands with similar aims combine a handful of songs to fill out a record. Hailing from DFW, Randall and Parker have over thirty years combined experience playing music in North Texas' underground metal scene. Their shared appreciation for heavy music and its influence displayed through the medium of paint.
