We will be talking about the different methods of merchandising your artwork and how some artists have been able to turn art merchandise sales into a supplemental revenue stream.
We will be joined by Goldmark artists with diverse experiences in art merchandising who can contribute their knowledge to the discussion, show samples of their merchandise, and share their recommendations for merchandise manufacturers and vendors. Together, we will explore answers to questions like:
What factors should you consider when reproducing your original artwork and designs on merchandise products?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of different types of merchandise products in terms of design, production, sales, and shipment?
What types of merchandise products (stickers, enamel pins, keychains, prints, pillows, t-shirts, cards, mugs, etc) are appropriate for your artwork?
Where should you source merchandise products?
Why does art merchandising work for some artists but not others?
