Private event for Goldmark artists and friends:
Cost: $20 cash
Arrival/Setup: 1:30pm - 2:00pm
Session Starts: 2:00pm
Session Ends: 5:00pm
RSVP encouraged
Join us on the afternoon of Monday 6/22 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm in the Goldmark Cultural Center’s Auditorium for the first in a series of Life Drawing Sessions, hosted by Goldmark artist Carol Devereaux! Participants will be able to sketch, draw, paint, or sculpt from a live nude model during this 3 hour non-instructional session.
To participate, you will need to pay $20 cash on arrival at each session. Carol will collect payment.
Arrive starting at 1:30pm to begin setting up your work area in the Auditorium. You must be finished setting up and ready to draw/paint/sculpt by 2:00pm.
The model starts to sit at 2:00pm exactly, and the Auditorium door will be closed and locked from that time until 5:00pm. No late arrivals will be admitted and no late set-up will be permitted, so arrive and set up early! The model is paid by the hour, so there is no flexibility with the schedule!
RSVP encouraged! Email Carol or message her on the Slack group to let her know you will be participating so we can get an accurate headcount. This helps a lot for planning these sessions!
If you have a non-Goldmark artist friend who would like to participate in the session, please notify Carol in advance when you RSVP.
Interested in making this a recurring event? Carol is still looking for Goldmark artists who can assist with the setup and organization of future sessions. Contact Carol by email or Slack, or talk to her after the session to find out how you can help.
Life Drawing Rules and Etiquette (review before arriving):
